It’s been a quiet week around here, though I’ve definitely been reading!
Books acquired this week
N/a! A few books I’m interested in are releasing in the coming week, though, so maybe I’ll have more to show next week.

And also the usual What Are You Reading Wednesday post.
What I’m reading
First, as always, a quick sneak peek at the books I’ve read this week that I plan to review on the blog!
I did also do a couple of rereads, like the fourth volume of The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System, which I don’t plan to review again, so it’s been a busy week!
I’m not sure what I’ll focus on over the weekend. I’ve dug into rereading Jordan L. Hawk’s Outfoxing the Paranormal series, so I might get up to reading the newest of the series. I’ve also started on a real chonker, The Posthumous Papers of the Manuscripts Club, which is long slow reading, and I’ll probably read a chapter or two of that.
But as ever, it’ll be whatever I feel like, in the end!

I did not buy any new books this week either. I did pre-order books earlier this year that will be arriving sometime this month. Have a great week!

There are some books I’m reaaaally looking forward to, can’t wait!
I am sorry to hear that Infectious was a disappointment. But it’s great that others, like The Love Hypothesis and The Wonder Engine, made up for the disappointing read.
I’m not sure what I’m reading next either!

You win some, you lose some, right? I don’t mind the occasional unfun read as long as I’m trying things.
I’ve already started on some Christmas books for a current challenge. I’m enjoying them.

Oof, a bit early for Christmas stuff for me, haha!
I haven’t acquired anything new either. I already have a small stack to get through, but I’m not sure in which order to read them!
I hope you enjoy whatever you pick out!
Haha, I have plenty to be getting on with, at least! Mount TBR is epic.
I’m looking forward to hearing more about The Bookshop Below!
I need to finish collecting my thoughts and add them to the review I’ve drafted! Some very interesting worldbuilding.
Bummer about the nonfiction books.. I was interested in the Queer as Folklore but after readug your revew i will skip. I still have severl nonfictions I want to get to before the end of the year.

I was pretty sad about that one, it had such potential.
I’m sorry your nonfiction reads were so disappointing, but I’m glad you had a few great fiction reads.
Wishing you a happy reading week

Generally I don’t post the reviews in the order I read the books anyway (I try to keep my reviews a bit varied), so they weren’t too close together in time. 😀
I love your quick little updates with ratings of your books read the past week. They are really helpful. I now wat to read the Love Hypothesis.

The Love Hypothesis was really fun!
Glad you found some good reads. Non-fiction can be tricky. I don’t read much other than instruction books to learn about new things, or occasionally historical documentation.

I love exploring non-fiction, but I’m quite harsh on it!
Blah my comment somehow pasted in Robin’s review for tomorrow UGH. You can delete that one if you like.

I edited out the accidental copy/paste, don’t worry! 😀
That subtitle on Pagans totally grabbed my attention – Two cops. One killer. Hundreds of Gods. Sooo intriguing!! Bitch looks very interesting too!

Pagans had an interesting idea; I didn’t love it as much as I hoped, but it made for pretty compulsive reading.
