Stacking the Shelves

Hello, everyone! Thanks for the good wishes last week — my grandmother’s operation went okay, and she seems quite well, all things considered. Hope you’ve all had good weeks too!

Suddenly, I’m mad about Phryne Fisher. Even considering watching the series, if it’s on the UK Netflix! I’ve read a bunch of these already.

Phryne Fisher is good then? I keep intending to watch the show, but just haven’t gotten around to it. I didn’t realize they were books too.

Still haven’t finished the Black Widow novel, so I haven’t picked anything new up.

    • Apparently the show is quite different in some ways, but the basic attributes of the character still seem to be there. It’s supposed to be very good, and I’m definitely enjoying the books. Phryne has a lot of agency and is a very smart woman.

  2. I’m glad to hear that the operation went well for your grandmother. Fingers crossed for her x On the book front I really need to give Kate Daniels another try. I think I should have at least read book two before giving up the series. I do plan to go back to it when time allows. Enjoy your books!
