I’ve been pretty stressed out this week keeping up with work stuff, but fortunately I had a library trip last weekend! This was a library I’ve only just joined, where I found they let me have 20 books at once! So naturally, that’s what I did — though many of the books I borrowed are ones I technically own but can’t access right now. These are the new ones!
Fiction
Yep, so glad they have the Patricia Briggs books so I can catch up a bit! The others are mostly stuff I’ve been interested in for a while.
Non-fiction
I liked Sam Kean’s book about neurology, so I’m planning to read The Disappearing Spoon and The Violinist’s Thumb, the latter whenever my reservation comes in. And the other book? Well, dinosaurs!
Hope everyone’s well, getting good books, and that any followers in France are safe and secure after the attacks of Friday night.
Wow at being allowed to take 20 books out of the library at once, that’s brilliant! I hope you really enjoy reading all the books you borrowed. 🙂
Here’s my Stacking the Shelves post:

Yeah, I was so excited, haha! Kid in a candy store doesn’t cover it. Thanks for dropping by.
I wish I could borrow some many books from the library <3 but also I wish I had what books to borrow, because libraries are a hit or miss for me… But I'm happy cause you found some awesome books and hopefully you'll have time to read them all! Also, since forever I want to start reading the series by Patricia Briggs but… time.
Happy reading!

I do have a bit of a hit and miss record, but I try to be open minded! I do like the Patricia Briggs books, though I like Ilona Andrews’ similar-ish series more.
Ooh a Patricia Briggs-a-thon! I love that series so much! I’m anxiously waiting for the next book to come out. Hope you enjoy your books and that you have a better week this week.
Yes, indeed! I’m looking forward to reading these. My old library didn’t have ’em.
I’ve yet to read any Patricia Briggs, but she’s on my list. Grave Secrets of Dinosaurs looks like a cool read – my non-fiction pick this week is The Bad-Ass Librarians of Timbuktu.
That… sounds awesome. I’m going to have to look that up.
Sam Kean spoke at my alma mater earlier this year. I enjoyed reading The Disappearing Spoon and do want to give his other books a shot.

I really, really liked the one on neurology. I recommend it!
So much Patricia Briggs. I hope you’ll like those books. Happy reading!
I’ve liked the series so far, so fingers crossed!
Awesome! Have fun on your Patricia Briggs binge, I know I did that myself when I was catching up on her Mercy Thompson series (and the later books get really good!)
Thank you! I’m excited about it.
I’ve been wanting to read Patricia Brigg’s series forever! Hope you enjoy! 🙂
They’re fun, though I like Ilona Andrews a liiiittle more!
Nice Haul Happy Reading!
Thanks!
