Commenting Policy

In general, everyone is welcome to comment on any of my posts, though some rare posts have had comments turned off in order to prevent an influx of spam. I reserve the right to edit comments to remove offensive commentary, though I would generally leave that to your discretion, or to remove links to websites I don’t wish to be associated with. I will delete duplicate comments just to keep things tidy and easy to follow.

You’re welcome to comment in reply to other users as well, but I ask that you keep it courteous and not get into an argument with someone in my space.

Things that are not welcome here and may result in you being banned from my blog:

  • Ableism
  • Abusive or harassing comments of any kind
  • Complaints about “being woke”
  • Fatphobia
  • Gender essentialism
  • Homophobia
  • Misoygny
  • Transphobia/Enbyphobia
  • Racism
  • Sexism
  • Spam

This is a non-exhaustive list, and other items may be added in future. I reserve the right to change this at my leisure. I may ban pre-emptively and entirely at my own discretion if I believe you represent a risk to me, or to people who comment on my blog.

And that’s it! Please bear in mind that I will always try to return the visit and comment if you have a blog as well, but it will be a much more productive and interesting relationship if you comment meaningfully.
